Horses have been a life long passion for me. From my first gelding to our current 14 mares and youngsters, horses continue to fascinate and teach. Both my daughters have been involved with horses, one for pleasure the other making a career of it. Showjumping is our primary focus. It became obvious that to compete at top levels we would have to include top warmblood bloodlines with long pedigrees of showjumping progeny. Ahorn, Concorde, Voltaire, Corrado, and Grannus are some examples of the bloodlines we are involved with. Sport ponies were also a natural extension - children must learn on smaller mounts- we want to ensure these equine friends are true athletes with superior temperments. Training sport horses and ponies has become a rewarding and enriching experience to my teaching qualifications! Concorde Ridge has produced horses that are currently competing in dressage, showjumping and eventing. We also have sold many "family" horses that are used for a variety of purposes as well as being cherished family members.
For the first two years our youngsters stay on our farm under the watchful eye of Stew and Cindy Hunt - they are then sent to our daughter Natty Hunt. Natty has been riding since she was 8 and is an instructor as well as a competitor on the A circuit. After a two month training session they return home to mature and start their careers in their fourth year. Natty has been riding since she was 8 and is an instructor as well as
a competitor on the A circuit. Natty is well known in the horse
industry for her good nature, dedication and success in the show ring.
Her experience in teaching junior and beginner riders has given many young
riders a safe and correct start.
